Troy Berardo

I’ve always been an active person, and my sports have been diverse: hiking the Grouse Grind and the local Crunch, tennis, rollerblading, running, skiing, and working out at the gym. Even for myself, though, there was a time when the pounds crept up, more than I would have liked, due to eating too much and not exercising at a high enough intensity. Life can be busy and chaotic, so it’s easy to let training drop down on the priority list. I had had enough and was looking for change.

Change for me started with finding yoga in 2006, finding hockey again in 2011, after not playing for 25 years, and then finding boot camp early in 2012. During that time, I’ve developed a passion for both yoga and boot camp training; these activities have truly transformed my life, in terms of both my mental attitude and my physique. I have so much more energy, motivation, and drive, since I’ve incorporated this type of training into my daily routine. It’s exciting to be in my forties and to feel so fit!

My goal is to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with all of the participants who come to my boot camp classes; optimal health is a realistic goal for everyone, regardless of your current fitness level. Please feel free to discuss your fitness challenges and goals with me at any time. Remember, if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you!
