Proactive cleaning at Pro Fit – Preventative care

If you are sick with a minor/major cold or flu symptoms, please stay home from the gym, until feeling 100% better.
We take pride in cleaning the gym for your use:
we wash the floor, washrooms, mats and all gym equipment daily with bleach.
Please help us by cleaning all the equipment that you have used during class, at the end of class.
The spray bottles and towels are located by the computer at the back of the gym.

The safety of our valued community is our priority, and as such, we continue to closely monitor the emerging information regarding COVID-19 as per the Fraser Health Authority and the BC Centre for Disease Control.
While the COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly around the world, note that the BC Centre for Disease Control continues to affirm that risk to people in British Columbia and the rest of Canada remains low at this time. However, we understand that there is great concern about the impact of further spread of COVID-19. We have been taking additional precautions as recommended by the Fraser Health Authority.
As of March 12, 2020, the BC Ministry of Health has announced new actions and preventive measures.

They are advising against all non-essential travel outside of Canada, including to the United States. If you do travel outside of Canada, you are asked to self-isolate for 14 days upon your return to BC. This is completely voluntary, but Vashti Rose Ice Cream and Pro Fit Boot Camp ask all members and visitors to our facility to take this recommendation seriously.

The BC Centre for Disease Control has clear instructions for self-isolation, which means you need to stay at home and avoid contact with others. The BC Ministry of Health has related that they continue widespread testing by screening BC travelers with symptoms and their close contacts, to identify cases of COVID-19 early.

Encourage everyone to follow prevention practices as communicated by the public health authorities:

· hand-washing for at least 20 seconds using soap and water

· Staying at home when you are sick

Vashti Rose Ice Cream and Pro Fit Boot Camp will continue to daily, frequently clean and disinfect all surfaces: floors, mats, chairs, countertops, doorknobs, bathrooms, all equipment, all touched surfaces. Please continue to follow the following sites for the most up-to-date information:

Vashti Rose Ice Cream and Pro Fit Boot Camp will continue to monitor this situation daily and will do our best to keep you informed and aware of upcoming developments.
